The mini HDV Handle Bracket is a natural extension to our line of PCI Heavy Duty Broadcast Camera Handles. The Sony HVR-Z1U-HDV Handycam is an amazing piece of technology for the documentary, music video and the extreme sports market. This mini HDV Handle Bracket is perfect for adding extra mini LCD monitors, audio transmitters or anything you want to add to your camera.
The mini HDV Handle Bracket is flat on top for direct mounting of mini Steady-Cam's for low angle set up's. You can also mount it to a fluid head that is upside down on a mini jib for low angle shooting, or just use a mono-pod for those quick low shots you want.
This bracket is tough enough to support up to 77.16 lbs (35 kgs) of shear load and is made of tough polymer plastic with 2 x 1/4" and 2 x 3/8" brass threads molded directly into it. This is an ultra light and tough bracket that weights in at 1.6 oz or 45 grams. (Only recommended for supporting DV and HDV size cameras)
