It was the perfect tool... carrying the gear, then quickly turning into a camera dolly. -Bill Kerrigan DOP

I used the Shooter Scooter extensively in the making of the documentary 'Braindamadj'd' both in the studio and on location. It was the perfect tool... carrying the gear, then quickly turning into a camera dolly.
This year the documentary was nominated for four and winner of two Gemini Awards.

The shooter scooter was a godsend. This is an essential weapon in our arsenal of tools. -Greg

The shooter scooter was a godsend. On a shoot with dozens of setups, the shooter scooter saved us time and money. The shooter scooter cut our production time by more than a third. It's flexibility, ease of use and super smooth wheels made tracking shots quick to set up and a snap to execute.

This is an essential weapon in our arsenal of tools.

before anyone knows it, you're already shooting Highly recommended -David Suddaby Videographer

If your budget can't afford the time or money for a Fisher or Chapman dolly, you should seriously consider the Shooter Scooter. Actually, you should consider it regardless of what you can afford. What I like about this product unlike others is that it is small, light, and mobile. Set up is a breeze and before anyone knows it, you're already shooting. But it gets better. This thing has a stability belt that locks you in tightly, in any position allowing me to get the best angle without any discomfort or need for self-stabilization! The result is much smoother shots because I can lean my full body weight on the belt and never have any fear of falling over.

-- Highly recommended.

...outstanding -Pamela Marr Producer, Ran Productions

We recently used the "shooter scooter" on a corporate video. The product was outstanding. It afforded us the opportunity to have "fluid movement" in our production. I would recommend this to anyone. I look forward using this product again in the very near future.

The client loved the shooter scooter -Jim Scott Videographer & GlideCam Operator

The client loved the shooter scooter! Used the Glidecam and stood on the platform, rolling over floor rugs and tile. All the shoots looked great. I already built a seat that spans the frame so I can shoot sitting down with the Glidecam hanging over the side, for the low shots. Easy and much faster than rigging
the low mode cage on the Glidecam.

shooter scooter with the micro Jib...a perfect match. -Brian Morris Micro Jib owner operator

As a Micro Jib owner quick setup and relocation are necessities, the shooter scooter provides both. I had the opportunity to try the shooter scooter with the micro Jib and found the two to be a perfect match. Installing the Micro jib on the scooter was a breeze, and with the scooters low center of gravity, balancing the
jib was no problem. In fact the shooter scooter was able to add the dynamic of an on air dolly move either on track or with wheels in combination with the craning from a jib shot. Wheeling all the jib parts including weights to the shoot location is a bonus, to then assemble everything and conclude shooting after only one trip from the van. Need I say more!!!

It's a production gear cart and a pro dolly system rolled into one. -Tom Patrick McAuliffe Review for VideoSystems.com (Feb/06)

It's a production gear cart and a pro dolly system rolled into one. The shooter scooter from Canada's VFGadgets.com ferries your gear and accommodates hard-to-pull-off camera moves via innovation and solid engineering.

Everyone seeing the dolly for the 1st time is very impressed with it. Director on current film couldn't believe how fast it is to set up and function so smoothly. -James De Mello

Everyone seeing the dolly for the 1st time is very impressed with it. Director on current film is very old school (in 70's) and couldn't believe how fast it set up and smooth function.

VFGadgets.com presents the "shooter scooter" developed by Peter Warren, the inventor of the WarrenDolly. After using shopping carts, wheelchairs, large dollys, and floating camera rigs to get those dynamic tracking shots, Peter created a vehicle that allows the camera operator the ability to get the camera moving anywhere he/she wants it to go. He also needed an easy way to get the camera and lighting equipment from the van to the location. This a multi purpose portable light weight portable dolly system for the camera crew that is constantly on the go. It is also great for SteadyCam operators who are doing those long walking street shots.

Made of sturdy aluminum, with light weight air tires, the shooter scooter folds down to a convenient suitcase size. You can ride it, load it with equipment, run it on track, and throw it in your trunk when you are finished. It is so small and light that you can
fly with it.
