VFGadgets and PCI Canada introduces a cost-effective design to its line of portable power products. The BA-312PS is a lightweight AC adaptor that specifically addresses the low power requirements of the small prosumer and broadcast camera systems such as the Sony DSR 570WSL camera with a power consumption of 26.1 Watts
The desktop model, universal input switching power supply is a single output unit that provides 40 Watts maximum power. 12VDC at 3.35 Amps. The AC input configuration is a Class 1 model EC320/C14 power receptacle with 3 male prongs. A detachable 3-connector cordset is also supplied. The 6' output cable is terminated with a 4-pin XLR industry standard connector.
The unit weighs in at a modest 325 grams (11.46oz). The black polycarbonate case is non-vented to prevent moisture or material contamination and measures 119x60x32 mm. (4.68x2.36x1.25 inches). A green LED indicator lights to show output present.
